Haus Sonne

The food was delicious, especially out in the beer garden, and the price felt very fair. We stayed in a family room with our four-person group and were all comfortable. The hotel has a cozy, traditional feel, with really friendly people and excellent service. Lindau was a must-see during our Lake Constance trip. We'd happily stay here again.

We spent hours relaxing on the terrace. The outdoor area is pleasant, and the sandwiches were delicious. Even with a fairly busy road just outside, it still feels like a lovely place to unwind.

There’s lots of room around the house beyond the bedroom, and you can buy reasonably priced drinks at the register. The hostess was especially helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere made us feel at ease during our three nights. Breakfast had a very good, wide selection. The place is somewhat away from amenities, and we did notice the street noise. Our comfort room was a little small, though. Still, I’d recommend it.

Remember that access is from the B308. The grounds are nicely landscaped, and there’s a broad range of cold drinks available on the honor system. Our room was clean and lovely, and breakfast was generous and tasty. The place has the charm of an older era, and the landlady was very kind and attentive. I’d gladly return.
