Motel One München-Westend

The location was very convenient, with trams and trains nearby, which is the only reason I’m giving two stars. We stayed five nights, and the sheets weren’t changed once. When we arrived, there was just one duvet and one towel for two people. We asked reception on the second day for another duvet, but they said the hotel was fully booked and had no spare ones, so they gave us towels to use as covers. I don’t understand how a hotel can take a reservation for a double room without having enough basic bedding for its guests.

The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious, with an authentic feel. The room was modern, clean, and had everything we needed, with daily room service too. Motel 1 Munich Westend is far enough from the busy streets to feel peaceful, while Old Town and Oktoberfest are still easy to reach on foot.

The rooms were clean and the service was great. They’re on the small side, and I wish there had been a desk, but public transportation was close by. I’d definitely stay here again.

Check-in and checkout were quick, and the room was pretty clean. It was VERY small, especially the bathroom. I skipped breakfast because 18€ felt like a lot to me. The bed was awful. It was so flat I could feel the slatted frame, and the overstuffed pillows felt like rocks. I had back pain and barely slept. The AC didn’t work either, so I was sweating on top of everything else. I had plenty of sleepless hours to think about this review. I won’t be coming back.
