The location is very convenient, less than a five-minute walk from the station and close to the city centre. But there was no signage, so finding the property could be difficult. Nobody was available in the office before noon or after 5 p.m. The room, especially the bathroom, smelled. The shower area was too small, the apartment's utensils and appliances weren't clean, and there was no WiFi.

At least the location was good, and the girl in charge was very nice. But the apartment was dirty and unpleasant, nothing like the clean, nice place we expected from the pictures. The sheets and towels had stains, and there were lots of tiny ants around. It's old, which we wouldn't mind if it were clean, but it wasn't clean at all. Thank God we only stayed one night. We should have read the reviews, our mistake.

We'd definitely stay in these apartments again as a base for central Munich. They're well placed just south of the Isartor, and the bedsit was quiet, clean, with a comfortable bed. The old furniture was decent, with a table and chairs for two. There was only one bedside table and light, but that was a minor issue. The shower worked very well, though its curtain had mould stains. There were several power sockets around the room. The kitchenette had a full-size fridge, a two-ring electric hob, microwave, a few pans and utensils, crockery, cutlery, and a Tassimo coffee machine, but no capsules or kettle. We struggled with the door locks at first. It took five attempts to get the hang of them, but the building supervisors were really helpful.

The location was good, but during our five-day stay there was no cleaning service, no bed sheets and no clean bath towels. Most of the appliances didn't work properly, and we found bugs and ants in the bed. Cleanliness needs improvement. There was no WiFi or even a city map for guests, and communication overall was very poor.

After following the check-in instructions, I collected the keys from the box at the entrance and settled into the apartment. It was very dirty, with wall debris in the shower. I left and returned after midnight, only to find two other guests in the room. I called the police, who found my belongings in the concierge's office. The concierge said I'd taken the wrong keys, but there were definitely no other keys in the box, and we hadn't been given a room number, so I worked out that room #109 was the one I'd booked. There was another booking for that room, but I can't understand why the concierge didn't contact me about the switch. He never got in touch, just packed my things without telling me about the mistake, and forgot my pyjama, which I need returned. This is absolutely unacceptable.
