St. Paul

I've been coming back for five years, and the staff have stayed the same the whole time, which says a lot for a hotel. It's a cute little family-run place, perfectly located for Oktoberfest. You probably can't get closer to the Wiesn. The rooms aren't fancy, but they've got what you need for a city trip. Breakfast is medium-sized and delicious, especially the freshly made scrambled eggs. They may be the best I've ever had, nothing like the usual hotel eggs that taste like insulation material.

My room was ready early, which was a nice bonus. I also loved how quiet it was after a day walking around the city: the hotel is on a quieter street, and my room didn't face the street. The property was clean, the front desk staff were friendly, and breakfast had a good range of the kinds of food you'd expect in Germany. The location was great for the price. You do pass some less ideal businesses on the way there, though that seems true of most places south of the train station. I'd stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

I stayed one night and found the room clean and spacious, with friendly staff. It's central and makes it easy to get around town. I'd happily come back and highly recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming to foreigners. I also had an amazing view from my window, and would gladly stay here again. One thing to know: the hotel locks after midnight for check-in. If you'll arrive late, let them know ahead of time.
