Spiekerooger Leidenschaft

Cool place.

We’d recommend the place to our best friends without hesitation. We had both breakfast and dinner in the lounge by the fireplace, and the food and range of choices were excellent. The staff were warm and welcoming too. Thanks, Fran & Co., for a first-class experience!

Hello, We usually stay at our regular hotel on Spiekeroog, so we can’t say anything about the rooms at Hotel Leidenschaft. But we’ve had breakfast here, and this year we also came for dinner. The breakfast buffet is the most varied on the island, and delicious too. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is friendly and attentive. There’s plenty of warmth. We’d originally come for kale, but ended up choosing the rump steak. It was the best we’ve had on the island, with refined, exquisite cooking, Michelin-star quality!! We were lucky to get two places at the Christmas buffet and the five-course Christmas menu on December 24th and 25th, 2025. We highly recommend both. The price is right, too. Thanks for a wonderful time. We’d love to return. Best regards, K. Lage/A. Schulz

We were given a fruit plate when we arrived, and the rooms were clean and modern. There’s an incredible breakfast buffet, a huge tea bar, and the service was great. Everyone was welcoming, especially the staff and the angel who is the soul of the hotel. We’d love to come back. We couldn’t get there because of the storm, but canceling the room was no problem. Then, when we couldn’t leave because the ferries were canceled again due to the storm, they gave us a discount on the room without us even asking. Simply amazing. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
