It was incredibly cold, maybe this place would be perfect in India. And I love this toilet, you could even carry it home.

We had a wonderful family reunion here, with 16 adults and 2 toddlers, and the room layout worked well for us. The common room was very cozy, and the many bathrooms were a real plus. The kitchen is small but cleverly laid out, so cooking for a big group was easy. It had plenty of equipment, and there were lots of nice dishes. The roof terrace is bigger than it looks in the photos. Nicole was very friendly and reliably available whenever we had questions.
The landlady was rather unfriendly, and the house is quite unclean and badly in need of renovation. Bed linen and towels cost extra. The photos make it look almost like a detached farmhouse, but that's far from the reality. Before we arrived, we kept getting reminders to shut the windows and observe quiet hours after 10 pm. Not recommended.
We had a family gathering of 9 people in the "barn" and all enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, and nobody had any complaints. The dining room had plenty of space, and the kitchen was especially well set up, with lots of glasses, cups, and plates instead of just enough for the number of guests. There were plenty of bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, so the upstairs layout felt a bit convoluted, especially with two or three bathrooms. Communication with Nicole was quick and easy. We also enjoyed the nearby bison enclosure as a day trip. The strict quiet hours start at 10 pm, and no one can sit outside after that. It wasn't an issue for us in mid-March, but it's useful to know.
The wasps were the worst part. There was a nest behind a bathroom wall, and we could hear them clearly. They had chewed through the wood at the middle skylight into the bathroom. We moved out of the bathroom as a precaution, which turned out to be a good idea since the wasps briefly chewed through. A handyman came, but his attempt to get rid of them with a spray bottle and masking tape was very unprofessional. The house was run-down and the renovation or extension work looked very unprofessional. The furniture had definitely seen better days. It was nothing like the photos. I could go on, but please don't book this place, especially at this price.
