The renovation is excellent and the decor is really tasteful. The staff are polite, the WiFi is okay, and there’s a handy little room downstairs where you can store bicycles safely. The restaurant, though, is expensive, and the rooms have no fridge or kettle. There aren’t any plugs by the bed, either. What really hurt my stay was the heat. I barely slept, even with the fan pointed at me and the window open, which didn’t feel very safe. At breakfast I asked why there was no air conditioning. They said it was an old building with rules, then asked if I’d opened the window. They also only provide a thick duvet, with no summer sheets. It’s a great hotel when the weather isn’t hot, but I can’t rate a place higher than 3/5 when it doesn’t help me sleep.

There’s no parking associated with the restaurant, which is the main downside. Still, the place is beautifully decorated with lots of wood, and sitting down for a meal is quite enjoyable. The food is good and the portions are generous for the reasonable prices. My pork roast was a little salty, but we’d come back for lunch or dinner.

The hotel is close to the bus station and lots of local attractions, so it’s a convenient place to stay. The rooms are spacious and peaceful, and the whole place is very nice. The restaurant offers plenty of options for vegan, meat-free, and other dietary needs, which made it easy to enjoy a special meal.

Breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in a lovely town. It was very quiet outside at night, which matters a lot on a business trip. Everything was perfect!

The room was clean and spacious, the people were warm, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s a comfortable place to rest in a small town about half an hour by car from Nüremberg, and it’s more economical than staying in or around Nüremberg. The restaurant cost me a star, though: there was no English menu, and I’ve never had noodles as salty as these.
