The service was something I loved, and the breakfast room itself is a fantastic place, even if the breakfast wasn’t particularly great. The rooms, though, were mediocre at best. The bed was pretty awful, and half the window had no curtain. Still, the atmosphere and location are hard to beat. I’d probably come back, if only because it’s so unlike a run-of-the-mill hotel.

Breakfast was great, with more food than you could eat, and the restaurant across the road was a lot of fun. It felt like eating in a folk museum, pretty weird but cool. The hotel has a fantastic, funky atmosphere, and the staff are really cool and easygoing, nothing seems to be a problem. If you’re up that way, seriously give this unusual place a try. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The staff are friendly and nice, and breakfast is good with plenty of options. Every room feels wonderfully imaginative, making this an amazing place I’ll remember.

We went inside to order, and he said he’d come out in a few minutes to clean the table and take our order. We were happy to order and get our drinks then, but he said he’d come and never did. The restaurant was almost empty, so it’s hard to understand why all the tables were dirty and nobody came over. It was simply bad service. I definitely had time “to sleep,” and not in the best way at all.
