Hotel Rubin

We had plenty of room even with an extra bed and a cot, and there’s a little play area in the breakfast room for kids. The cleaning was spotless, and there’s a tram stop right in front of the building. Breakfast was really good, much better than at some four-star hotels I’ve stayed in around Europe. I’m not vegan, but I liked seeing such a large vegan selection. This is a great place to stay with children in Düsseldorf, and we’ll book it again when we visit.

The bed was comfortable, the staff were easy-going, and the room was very clean. It had all the amenities I’d expect for the price. Even though the hotel is on a central street, it was quiet for me, which mattered a lot. A cozy place with cute, quiet rooms.

We paid €80 for one night, without breakfast, and it felt totally fair for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. The woman who checked us in was really friendly and smiling, and the man at the counter was just as nice when we handed in the key the next morning. I was very happy with it.

We booked at the last minute and paid a fortune, though there wasn’t anything else available. The hotel was easy to find and the staff were friendly. The room was okay, nothing special, and the carpet throughout had seen better days. It’s on a busy street with heavy traffic and trams. The room also smelled of stale cigarettes, and they’d sprayed a lot of air freshener before we arrived. Opening the windows helped with the spray, but the cigarette smell lingered.
