The garden is beautifully kept, and they even sent us home with a big bag of organic apples. It’s a quiet place on the edge of the forest, nice for a walk, and a good base for visiting the Thuringian Forest sights or Eisenach. There may not be restaurants nearby, so it helps to know that beforehand. Breakfast was fresh and lovingly prepared, with plenty to choose from. The two hosts were accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Our spacious room had comfortable beds. Things are a little dated, but that gives the place some charm. A restful spot where you can linger. We’d gladly return.

The owners were incredibly warm and friendly. There’s parking right by the house, and the lovely garden has sun loungers, making it a great place to unwind in summer.

My room was spacious and very clean, and the setting was quiet. I got in late without any trouble, and even with my very early departure, breakfast was ready and delicious. A fantastic stay, I’d happily come again!

The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. It’s a real hidden gem, with spacious, attractive, clean rooms at a fair price in a peaceful location.
