I've stayed here twice in the last two years, and the staff have been welcoming and friendly both times. The food is always amazing. Titisee isn't a typical vacation destination, but it's somewhere you have to check out. If you visit, you must stay at Bruggger's Hotel!

We had a booking.com reservation confirmed weeks before we arrived. Then, the day before check-in, we got a call saying it had been canceled. We had to call twice just to get written proof of the cancellation. We were already travelling around and were left without accommodation, which was seriously upsetting and stressful. We emailed to ask for a full refund and a replacement stay, then called a dozen times, but got no answer. This isn't acceptable for a 4-star hotel.

The spa and rooms were spacious, the staff were very friendly, and the alpacas were lovely. A fantastic stay.

We had a large, comfortable room, a great breakfast, and parking right on site. It's a wonderful hotel by the lake. We didn't use the pool or spa, but they looked really nice.

The lake access and private beach are the best in TitiSee, and getting to town takes an easy three-minute walk. Rooms with a lake view are excellent, and breakfast was adequate. They brought out the chair cushions late in the morning, which irritated me and several other families. The front desk staff badly need customer service training.
