The evening meal at Parkhotel Waldeck 4☆ was delicious, clearly made with care, and the servers were attentive. The bartender made a cracking cocktail, too. The hotel has a relaxing pool and spa setup: an indoor pool, an underground sauna and hammam baths, plus an outdoor jacuzzi and sun loungers. Breakfast is self-service inside or on the terrace, with a good Continental spread, eggs with bacon or mushrooms, and a machine for fresh orange juice. I would've liked some small German sausages as well. The breakfast team and cleaners were friendly and did a great job. Thanks especially to Frama and her colleague for cleaning our room each morning. The hotel is central in Titisee, welcoming, and dog-friendly. Their own long, red-haired Highland cow dog quietly watches people pass through the lobby with one eye. The whole place has a pleasant feel, and the team's friendliness seems to reflect good management. Highly recommended!

The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the pool area and jacuzzi were small but nice. The location is good, though trains can be a little noisy if you go to bed early or get up late.

We were able to check in at 1130h even though check-in normally starts at 1500h, because we arrived freezing in -1°C weather. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel felt cosy and comfortable. There's a lovely open fireplace in the fantastic lobby in the evening. It's directly opposite the train station, with Titisee only about 400m away on foot.

We stopped at the bar for two special beers, and the waiter, who was a sommelier, gave us his full attention and explained the beers they serve. A very nice, upper-class experience.

Helpful, polite staff and a good location within walking distance of the lake and possible hiking routes. The rooms are spacious and pleasant, and there's a good range of breakfast buffet options.
