We stayed one night in a studio at Stuub Tititsee in Titisee-Neustadt on January 1, 2026, after booking through Booking.com. Getting into the room was stressful. There was no one on site, check-in was entirely electronic, and we hadn't received an email with the access codes or clear instructions. It took several phone calls to sort out. Although we'd already paid in full, we were told we couldn't access the room unless we paid another €62 by card on site. That fee hadn't appeared in the booking or Booking.com confirmation. The total came to over €200 for one night, far too much for the service provided. Breakfast wasn't served at the accommodation as described, so we had to arrange it ourselves at another hotel, and the sauna couldn't be used. With no staff there to handle problems, the whole stay felt stressful and unclear for the price. We wouldn't book again or recommend it.

The lake and pedestrian zone are very close, with the train station about a 10-minute walk away. There are parking spots and electric car charging stations around the accommodation, and the view of the lake and mountains is lovely. We stayed in a modern top-floor maisonette with its own kitchen. Check-in was easy, whether online beforehand or on the iPad on site to create room cards, and the information came by email in advance. The facilities were clean and top-notch, though a few more dishes and places to hang clothes or towels would have helped. In fall, the automatic heating thermostats kept lowering the temperature on their own. Even so, it was a perfect place to stay, and the balcony would be lovely for relaxing in summer.

The accommodation itself was nice, but the service let us down. We arrived without an access code and could only get in after calling customer support. The sauna was out of order both days. We tried contacting support several times and got conflicting information, but no solution. We spent so much time dealing with them that a relaxing weekend wasn't possible.

We booked through Check24 and had a very satisfying two-night stay at the Stüble Hotel. The apartment was about 40 m², with a terrace, kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, and other amenities. Everything felt clean, modern, and new, and clean cots for our two children were a thoughtful touch. Check-in was simple: we got a door code and completed the process on an iPad with our passport details and payment. Downstairs there's a room like a small conference room where friends could gather or play games. Coffee machines, wine, beer, and other drinks are available there, with payment by cash box or bank transfer. There's also a sauna and washing machine. A few things needed attention: the windows were dirty, the soap dispenser was broken, and the terrace had lots of leaves despite final cleaning costing over €60. That fee was charged separately through Check24 and may differ on other platforms. We'd gladly return.
