I’m not sure why some people have left such bad reviews. The staff greeted me as soon as I arrived, and the dining area was clean and cute. My room was spacious and very clean, with no odor like some older reviews mentioned. I usually prefer a softer bed, but this one was okay, not the worst I’ve slept on. The room stayed warm at night, and breakfast in the morning was great. It’s a handy location for walking to the Christmas market bus pickup, and the price was much better than other hotels nearby. I’d stay here again!

The friendly staff and very good breakfast, with plenty of cheese, ham, and sausages, were the best parts. I didn’t try dinner. The sauna costs 8 Euro per person per hour, and the swimming pool was out of order. There was a slightly odd smell in the corridor. One mattress in our double bed was new and quite good, while the other was a little too worn. We didn’t get more shower gel or shampoo after using what was provided. Overall, it felt too expensive. I’ve had a lot more quality for a lot less money in bigger cities like Berlin, Milano, and Vienna.

The staff were helpful, but the bed was very uncomfortable. It was -5 degrees outside, and the room heater wasn’t working at all.
