The quiet setting worked well for us, with Hamburg and Lüneburg still nearby and the A7 only a few minutes away. Parking beside Gasthof Vossbur was easy to access. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and the staff stayed friendly and helpful throughout. The traditional, cozy hotel was clean and well cared for. Breakfast had plenty of choice, but the fresh regional food was the real highlight. The wild game dishes were a treat, and the cooking felt made with care. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy genuine hospitality. I’d happily return.

I stayed at this hotel for a week on a business trip a few years ago, and I still miss the place. It’s simple and traditional, yet one of the best. The food was so good, and the people and hospitality were phenomenal. I hope I can come back soon.

Breakfast was good, and the staff communicated well and made me feel welcome. My room was amazing and spotlessly clean.

The restaurant was closed on Thursdays, and there was no staff at the hotel then. That wasn’t clear from the reservation, which was the most disturbing part of my stay. The room was okay, though it had clearly been around for some time. The hotel itself feels old, and sound carries straight through. People race by on the street like it’s a go-kart arena, and I could also hear the rooms next door. The floor squeaks too.

Lovely food, friendly service, beautiful nature, and a thoughtful feel to the place. On top of that, the price was really reasonable.
