The apartment is called Hamburg, though there isn't any Hamburg connection in the place, which feels odd. The wine theme is missing too, even though wine and hiking are the main reasons to come here. The kitchen was the main letdown: no oven or freezer, and an outdated microwave. Two heaters also didn't work. The landlords replied quickly and offered to come by after we explained the heating issue, but we declined because we didn't want anyone working on things during our holiday. Parking at the property is difficult, though we had been told that beforehand. The church bells ring very loudly at 7 a.m., which wasn't welcome. Booking the Hamburg apartment and getting the key were both straightforward. The apartments are centrally located in Traben Trabach, and everything else was clean and tastefully furnished.

There were two apartments, one above the other, so we all had plenty of room. Everything was great, and the location is very central for getting around on foot. We'd gladly stay here again.

Parking may be the one small drawback, but the rest made up for it, and we'd love to return. The location is peaceful and still handy for reaching the main places. Inside, everything was spotless, well cared for, and equipped with what we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell someone considered the details, and we felt at home from the first minute.

Everything worked without a hitch, and the booking was smooth. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, with a ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, and dishwasher. The beds were already made, and towels and other essentials were there. We could collect the key from a coded key box. Our apartment had air conditioning, plus a wood-burning stove for colder weather.

The little balcony was really nice, and it was pleasant to switch on the air conditioning in the evening. The owner was extremely friendly. It suited us for a few nights, although the beds weren't quite right for us, and the kitchen could do with renovation.
