Gzt Das Gã¤stehaus

That lovely view and the clean, nicely furnished room made our stay very pleasant. My husband also enjoyed the tasty breakfast the next morning. We had booked a double room because of my early appointment, and a friendly young woman welcomed us and explained everything. We were very satisfied, thank you. We’ll definitely book here again.

Right in the university area, and the rooms were clean. The staff were really friendly, too. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty for what I needed.

I keep choosing the GZT guesthouse in Tübingen for its closeness to the university hospital, though I’d probably stay elsewhere if my appointment weren’t first thing at the hospital. My first visit in 2019 felt much nicer, with everything seeming better cared for. On later trips, the place struck me as run-down, and the many wall scratches and cosmetic flaws feel disappointing for the price. The breakfast was very tasty, and most of the staff were friendly. At checkout, though, I found the woman unfriendly. I was especially disappointed to find two dried bloodstains on the duvet. Staff acknowledged it, but didn’t give me the impression they were taking it seriously. The broken scald protection in the shower was also a problem, and that concern seemed to be brushed aside as well.
