The location and restaurant are lovely, but my stay was a frustrating experience with the hosts. I had booked a sea view and was given a room looking at the car park. After a lot of complaining, I got a different room. At checkout, despite having booked and paid online, they tried to charge me again, which I refused. The owner said something like, “but I upgraded you.” I had proof that wasn’t the case, and I’d paid good money for the room. When I questioned it, the owner called me a bi*ch. The staff also seemed just as annoyed with the owner as I was.

The hotel has spacious, spotless rooms, comfortable beds and new bathrooms, plus a pool, sauna and its own beach. Its location is right on the coastline, and the restaurant serves delicious food. Breakfast was a great buffet too. What more could you want on the Baltic shore?

A lovely hotel with good food and very friendly staff. Breakfast could be a little more vegan-friendly, with things like seeds, soy yogurt and fresh fruit.
