The food was delicious, and it’s a beautiful spot, but the service was terrible. After a long wait, we were short one set of cutlery. We didn’t mind waiting or asking for more, and my friend politely asked in German. The middle-aged waiter brought it over quickly, then flung his arms around as he put it down and asked if we were “happy now?!” The restaurant was obviously full and he seemed very stressed, but that reaction spoiled an otherwise lovely dinner and evening :(

The staff were amazing, really friendly, and clearly wanted to make our stay as good as possible. The food was delicious, with local dishes as well as things like steak. There’s a beer garden right by the lake. Definitely recommend!

This is our favorite waterfront restaurant, but we drive there specifically for the veal with horseradish sauce and the kretzel fillet. Both were unavailable because the restaurant was closed. Otherwise, I’d give it four stars. Please stay open seven days a week.

Breakfast was amazing, and the restaurant food was good. But our room wasn’t ready, and when it was, it hadn’t been cleaned very well. The bar hygiene could use work too. The Wi-Fi was basically nonexistent, don’t even bother trying to log in.
