The price is hard to argue with, and the location is great: about two minutes from the shopping area and five from the main railway station. It’s clean and tidy, the bed was really comfortable, and the room had what I needed. The shower and toilet were across the hall. It was quieter than I expected. It’s not the Ritz, but it did the job.

We arrived late and collected our key from the lockbox, but it wouldn’t open the door to our assigned room, even after several tries. Trying the next door by mistake, we found that key worked, but the room was occupied by a very angry man who yelled at us in German. We felt unsafe, alone in a sketchy neighbourhood in the middle of the night. Several emails got no response, so we had to find another hotel that night, at a much higher cost. We’d already paid for the original stay, so we ended up paying triple for accommodation. After several complaints, they refunded half our money. They put us in danger and didn’t try to make it right. I warn people against staying here.

For a discounted price, this is a decent, clean, quiet budget stay. The premises are well maintained inside and out. You don’t find many places this inexpensive in central Ulm.

It’s close to the main train station and shopping malls, so the location is good. The room was large, though very dark, and parking wasn’t easy. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
