We managed a late check-in, and everything was ready so check-out was quick. Good hotel, great prices for the location, and the breakfast was very good too.

WOMEN BEWARE! I saw a male employee, the man with glasses, following behind me and apparently taking pictures of my behind with his phone. When I turned and saw him pointing it toward my bum, he looked up at the sky and fiddled with random objects as though nothing had happened. Looking back, I also remember him following me out of the hotel once and knocking on my door even though I'd clearly put the « Do not disturb » sign on the doorknob. The rest of the staff were great, and the other parts of my three-night stay were good, which makes this such a shame. But I'd caution other women about staying here. I contacted the hotel. They seemed not to believe me, though they said they'd call a staff meeting to get to the bottom of it. To anyone reading, I know he was taking pictures or filming me. I encourage management to respond here with what came out of that meeting. I posted the same review on Booking.com.

I'm obsessed with the Sparrow! The single room was just what I needed as a traveller, and the location was really handy. The only odd thing was having no soap at the sink, so I had to lean into the shower to reach the dispenser. A bit awkward, though I'm glad they use a dispenser instead of wasteful little bottles.

We had a great time exploring Ulm on the hotel's bicycles. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and just right for what we needed. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, and knew a lot about local restaurants, cafes, and things to do nearby. Highly recommend.
