The landlords were friendly, and the price was okay. The apartment is spacious, has everything you need, and comes with a great view.

We stayed in the "Schlüsselblume" holiday apartment from July 31st to August 10th, 2023. It was on the garden side of the lower ground floor, with its own ground-level entrance. The place was spacious, clean, well furnished, and had everything we needed. Even with the weather, we had a relaxing stay. The view over Lake Edersee was unique, and the house itself was quiet with a lovely look toward the castle. Ms. Friedrichs was friendly and accommodating, and her suggestions for outings were excellent. She pointed us to Fritzlar as well as restaurants and shops in Waldeck. We stayed in the Waldvöglein apartment and were thrilled by the breathtaking view. The rooms were lovely, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Mrs. Friedrich was very nice and did her best to meet our needs. We can easily see ourselves vacationing there again.

Waldeck is a small, authentic town. There's a little grocery store on the market square with what you need, including local specialties, and it's best to reserve a restaurant ahead of time. The beach house on Lake Edersee is stylish and has a great view. We stayed in the "Gänseblümchen" holiday apartment with two adults and a toddler. It felt like a second home, very clean and comfortably furnished. Mrs. Friedrich was so warm and welcoming.
