The accommodations are simple, clean, and authentic. It's a lovely secluded spot, and the people are friendly and open. The children enjoyed helping the farmer with the animals each day and sometimes got to ride the ponies. You can buy really fresh milk from the neighbor, and Martiburhof also sells some delicious homemade products. We had a wonderful time, and the children learned a lot.

Our daughters, aged 2 and 5, loved feeding the animals every morning, and we even got to go on a fantastic tractor ride. Mrs. Tröndle gave us helpful tips for things to do nearby, and the family always made time for a chat or our questions despite being busy on the farm. We spent 10 wonderful days at the Martiburhof with the Tröndle family. The apartment was comfortable and had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

The holiday apartment is generously sized and reasonably priced, and the family is friendly and welcoming with children and all their questions. Kids can help feed the animals, then play with good-quality vehicles, a trampoline, sandpit, slide, and more, or watch the rabbits and chickens. Having foster cows on this farm and dairy cows at the neighboring farm, where fresh milk is available to buy, is an ideal combination for children.

The Southern and High Black Forest are breathtaking, and the Martiburhof makes them easy to explore. We spent 13 days here and had a lovely holiday, thanks in large part to the very friendly hosts. Mrs. Tröndle gave us such useful tips that we didn't need a guidebook, and Mr. Tröndle made great experiences possible for the children. The farm is in a quiet village, and two apartments have wonderful balcony views. Furnishings are simple but functional, while the bathrooms are very small. Bed comfort varies: some mattresses were decent, others quite uncomfortable. Still, we felt very comfortable overall and will most likely return. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday!

Mrs. Tröndle gave us really helpful ideas for excursions. We had a wonderful week at the farm with our children, aged 4 and 1. Our older one especially loved helping in the barn and riding on the tractor.
