Hübners Park-Hotel

We spent a few days here before a Baltic cruise, and it worked out well. Warnemunde is a fun, typical beach town, though the Baltic Sea is no place for swimming unless you’re a walrus. Hubner Park is very close to the beach and is the sister hotel of beachfront Hubner Strand. They offer about the same services and amenities, but Park has no water views and costs a little less. The beach is an easy walk, and there are plenty of hotels along it. This pair seems among the nicest. Our room was roomy and airy, with a good king bed, an excellent shower and toilet room, a safe, and a heated towel rack I used to dry laundry washed in the sink. The buffet breakfast was very good. Guests can use the spa, steam room, sauna, and indoor pool at no extra charge. The pool is clean, though not heated. A couple of small things could be better: there was no tea kettle or English TV news channel in the room. Still, I’d return.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and we even had a sea view from our room. We had an excellent weekend here and will definitely come back.

We came for the buffet breakfast, but it was a disaster. The buffet was empty and staff didn’t replenish it, while the service staff just talked among themselves.

The building was lovely and the staff were nice. It’s very close to the beach!
