Pension Clajus

One of the loveliest places we’ve stayed, with a super friendly owner. We gave it a 1+.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was clean and furnished with great taste. This is a lovely private house with well-kept grounds, right at the edge of a residential area. Breakfast was regional, including vegetables from the owner’s own garden. The landlady was very friendly and made our stay pleasant. It would work just as well for a holiday as it does for a work trip.

It’s a quiet, very clean place with a great view, parking, and a lovely owner. We didn’t eat breakfast there, but what I saw being served to other guests looked delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The main drawback for me was that the rooms couldn’t be darkened at night, and the morning sun came up very early. Sitting on the balcony at 6:00 a.m. in summer is lovely, but next time I’d bring a sleep mask. One more thing about costs: we booked through booking.com for two adults and one child with an extra bed. When we left today, we were charged an extra €20 per night for the child. That wasn’t included in the price, even though the portal confirmation said it was. This should have been made clear in advance.

The view is fantastic, and it’s easy to get everywhere from here. This little guesthouse is friendly, clean, and very well maintained. Top-notch, and we’d love to return! The Thomas Family from Oranienburg
