It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center. The owner was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was great. Everything was clean, and I'd recommend staying here.

Hiking trails start right by this delightful guesthouse, and the old town is only a short walk away. From the villa district, you can also see Wernigerode Castle. We spent a weekend here and immediately felt at home in the tastefully decorated, spotless room. Mr. Ginko has furnished the rooms with lovely attention to detail. Breakfast was beautifully presented and made for a relaxing start to the day, with nothing missing. We wish the Ginko family continued success and many more welcoming guests. We'll gladly recommend this guesthouse.

My wife and I stayed for three nights. The host was fantastic, and the rooms were modern and impeccably clean. There was a small kitchen for making tea, coffee, or other refreshments, and the breakfast buffet was prepared with care and had everything we could wish for. A truly wonderful guesthouse, highly recommended!

We took a short family trip to the Harz Mountains and stayed at this guesthouse. It was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned really well during our stay too. SUPER! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended!
