After breakfast, my hostess drove me back to the Westweg trailhead, which was great service. I was hiking the Westweg in early July 2025 and needed a quiet place for the night, with a simple, clean room and a very friendly welcome. The local inn was closed, so she offered to cook me goulash. That was incredibly kind and thoughtful.
I felt really well looked after during my one-night stay at the end of September. Ms. Stahl even offered me a lift to the Westweg portal at Wiedener Eck the next morning. I’d happily recommend staying here.
I found somewhere to stay at short notice while hiking the Westweg. Only a double room was available, but that worked out fine. The owner was very accommodating, and the night including breakfast was reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back.

A friendly lady welcomed me to this nice little guesthouse near the Westweg. Breakfast was good, and there’s parking right out front.
