We spent five days at Haus Erika and had a really nice stay. The owners are very friendly and super helpful, and we hope to return when we're back in Black Forest. The village is lovely, with hiking trails starting right outside, so there's no need for a car. Our room was neat, clean, and cosy. We booked with Smart Box ( Bongo ), which included two dinners, and both were very, very good. Breakfast and the lunch boxes were great too. Thanks for a lovely stay, from Francis and Ann in Belgium.

Lesley went out of her way to help us time and again. She's a fantastic, hard-working hostess, and we loved staying with her. The place was spotlessly clean, with coffee and tea in the room and lots of thoughtful touches, even a needle and thread. She's so friendly and helpful, I can't say enough.

We stayed here as a family and felt welcome in every way, from the beautiful house and comfy beds to the lovely people who run it. We were treated to delicious dinner and breakfast, and left feeling we'd made friends for life. We hope to be back before long. Best place to stay in the area!

Lesley is a terrific host and made everything easy, nothing was too much trouble. The setting is lovely and the facilities are excellent, including the beer fridge. We'd visit again.

This place feels like a second home. The owners have become like family, and they're always so warm and welcoming. Everything is beautifully maintained to a high standard. Love coming here to relax and unwind somewhere quiet and peaceful.
