Hotel Restaurant Sonnenhang

I didn’t take any photos, but I had to write about the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. The room had an older, charming look and was simple rather than fancy. It was clean and quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept so well I didn’t want to leave in the morning. The only thing I didn’t like was the carpet. I wouldn’t take a star off the hotel operators for it, though, since they’re only renting the space and the building’s owner refuses to update it. I hope this hidden gem stays open. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The restaurant was very good, with tasty, well-cooked food, and the breakfast room has a lovely view through its two windows. The hotel sits higher up on the hill, so the view is great, and the location is quiet. My room looked old but was clean, and the staff were friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was the mattress.

We didn’t stay overnight, but we had dinner there twice. Both meals were delicious and presented with flair. The prices were unbelievably low, and it was a very, very positive experience!

The meals were first class, and the staff were friendly and competent. The house is a bit old-fashioned but clean, and the landscape is lovely.
