My vehicle battery died, and the staff went out of their way to help. They brought jumper cables and tools, but those weren’t enough, so I had to buy a new battery. Since I don’t speak German, they kindly called around for me and found somewhere that sold the right one for my car. I’ve stayed in many hotels over the last 30 years of travel, and this place showed me the best human kindness I’ve encountered. I’m grateful to the whole staff for that rare personal touch and their incredible service and hospitality. Thank you!

After a long drive, it was great to have a clean, comfortable room with space to sit and have a coffee. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. I ordered sushi online from a local place, and it arrived quickly and tasted delicious. Highly recommend!

We stopped at Twice while driving from Switzerland to the Netherlands, and it worked really well for a car trip. It’s just off highway 66 and a short drive from highways 3 and 5. The hotel is also just outside the Wiesbaden "Umweltzone", so it was accessible to us even though we’d carelessly forgotten to order the green sticker for our nearly new car. The industrial and commercial area is quiet and felt safe, though there’s nothing cultural within walking distance. There’s plenty of free, safe parking. Decor-wise, Twice is delightfully odd: an old vespa supports the breakfast buffet, a wooden door on the ceiling frames a chandelier, and newspaper pages serve as wallpaper. Some might think the architect had a nervous breakdown, but we loved the creativity and freshness. Normalcy is overrated. Teddy bears throughout the hotel add a family-friendly touch, and we suspect the quirky style also gives younger guests’ imaginations a bit of a spark. Our room was simple, pleasant, and unusually styled. We didn’t miss the usual minibar. It was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with a great shower. The rooms are standard size, but clever design makes them feel airier and bigger. Breakfast is an informal buffet, unpretentious but satisfying, with great coffee and a piping hot samovar and loose leaf teas. There’s no restaurant or bar, but dispensers in the lounge offer soft drinks, coffee, and tea. For dinner, there are places to eat within walking distance or a short drive away. The reception isn’t always staffed, especially on weekends. We called the person in charge, who showed us where to find our keys in a box by the entrance. It was no fuss, and we met her at breakfast the next morning. The price is in line with other hotels nearby. With no minibar, bar, 24/7 reception, or formal room service, it might feel a little high, but we were happy to trade those standard amenities for the friendly, informal, quirky atmosphere. It’s a refreshing change from the usual big-chain anonymity. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The rooms are new and exceptionally clean, and the staff were friendly. I had the best customer service I’ve experienced in Germany. There was good breakfast, 24h beer, and access to good coffee. If you’re staying nearby, this is the place.
