The village and viaduct look amazing from here. The interiors, though, are dusty and dated, and I wouldn’t return before the place is renovated. The staff don’t speak English.

The owners could be friendlier, but the apartments are very nice: clean, spacious, and well equipped.

We spent five days here, and our stay didn’t live up to what we expected for either service or the accommodation, so we wouldn’t book again. The bathroom seemed recently renovated, which was a plus. The rest of the apartment felt dated, with old wallpaper and some old furnishings. The bed linen was fine, but the pillow and duvet filling was all lumpy and made sleeping less comfortable. The kettle was unreliable the whole time and even switched itself on once. Service was disappointing too. Nobody was available to answer questions when we arrived, so we paid in person the next day. We found the communication unfriendly throughout. When we asked about the sauna area, the short explanation came across as dismissive. We left in the morning without help with our luggage or even a personal goodbye. We also left our towels out to be replaced, but they were still outside our door until late afternoon, and we never got fresh ones. With the winter weather, we thought the paths weren’t cleared or gritted until later in the morning. When we left around 10 a.m., it was still snowy and slippery, so we had to be very careful with our suitcases.

Breakfast is an optional extra, and at €9.50 per person it was plentiful and very good. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly property managers, and the clean, spacious apartment had everything we needed. There were four adults in our group, staying for two nights, and we were all pleased. I’d gladly book here again.
