There have been some renovations, and the whole staff is friendly. They were well prepared to welcome guests while keeping social distance and using masks where needed. The hotel is very nice, with amazing food and desserts, plus inexpensive drinks on tap. Biking groups, locals, and others stop by, but not many people use the small pool. Parking is limited, and a couple of rooms have extra-small balconies. I’d highly recommend the place.

We booked a room while traveling, but got the date wrong. The chef found us the last available room, even while he was busy handling a wedding. We ate schnitzel and cordon bleu in the nice garden, and both were very good. The hotel is beside the Danube, where there was a local Sonnewende celebration that was nice to look around. Breakfast was simple but fresh, with enough to choose from. A good place to remember for another visit.

Dinner at the restaurant was OK, but the hotel service felt rather unfriendly and breakfast was very limited. The price was way too high for the service we got.
