It’s wonderfully quiet here, and the walking and hiking trails start right outside. We’d happily come back for another relaxing break. The apartment itself is spacious, with a great bathroom and a super bed, and it didn’t feel like anything was missing.

The owners were really friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet little village with a great choice of hiking trails, though you may wake up to the rooster if that bothers you. There are horses, chickens and roosters on the property, along with the owners’ free-roaming cat and dog. Inside, the bedroom has a double bed and wardrobe, and the living room has a sofa bed, TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has the everyday essentials, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic cooktop and refrigerator.

A lovely place in a beautiful setting, with hiking trails close by. The Winterberg ski lifts are just a 7-minute drive away, and Gasthof Mollseiferhof is only 150 meters away for a meal. The apartment has everything you need.

The sofa bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Getting in was easy with the key safe, and the amenities were all in good order. Being south of Winterberg also meant we could avoid the traffic jams coming from the north.
