My wife and I stayed here with our two children, and we’d love to return. The apartment was clean, tidy and very well furnished, and the hostess was very friendly. It’s also close to both the town center and the ski slopes.

The hostess was incredibly friendly, and the location was one I’d definitely recommend. We stayed a few nights before Christmas, and with young children it was an easy walk in ski boots. The bathroom is spacious and nicely heated, so our ski clothes dried within an hour. There’s also plenty of storage in the entrance for shoes. The house has everything you could want: a fully stocked kitchen with a spacious fridge, two sets of crockery, cupboards full of glasses and cups, a well-working oven, a nice dishwasher, and lots of appliances. Alongside the kettle there’s a filter coffee maker and a Senseo machine, plus an egg cooker and a hand blender.

The apartment is well suited to a weekend away and has everything you need. The hostess is very friendly, the town center is a five-minute walk, and shops are easy to reach on foot too. A very nice place to stay, highly recommended.

You can park right outside the door, and there’s electric car charging available. Bikes can be locked away inside the shed. The apartment is below the owner’s house, neat and fully furnished, and within walking distance of all the main shops in Winterberg.
