Apartment-Hotel

The only thing I was pleased with was the cleanliness. The place felt very dated, especially the bathroom and furnishings, and the TV didn't work. When we asked about it, nobody could offer a solution. The reception was unattended, and there was also a problem with the incorrect safe code for the room key. Even for one night, I expected a warmer welcome and better service. A disappointing stay.

The room service was a pleasant surprise. We usually don't have our beds made while we're out, and at other hotels it's often only done on request because of the cost, so we hadn't put out a sign. I thought that was really considerate. The staff were attentive, and the price was good. It's a quiet location, and although dedicated parking would have been nice, we had no trouble parking right outside. The townhouse, built around 1910, has been lovingly kept in its original style while being turned into a hotel with small private apartments. The hallway felt like stepping back into the golden 70s, but the apartments themselves are modern. I felt right at home. Check-in and check-out were both personal and incredibly friendly, and checking in outside reception hours is possible too. One thing the town really needs is more charging points for electric vehicles, including bikes, especially at the nearby train station. The whole district is short of them. It's a shame, because charging infrastructure matters for tourism.

There's plenty of space and the amenities are good for such a low price. It's a small, quiet apartment hotel, about a five-minute walk from the train station and ten minutes from the city center.

The breakfast is really good, with a huge selection of quality food, and the breakfast room is pleasant. Service was friendly, capable, and helpful. It was very quiet too, I couldn't hear other guests or cars. The house is old and the stairs creak a little, but that didn't bother me.
