It was very quiet, and getting around the surrounding area was easy, though you do need a car. The place was spacious throughout, with a large terrace and a roomy, well-equipped kitchen. We had a great time playing board games at the big dining table. Even when the evenings turned chilly, the heating worked perfectly.

The apartment was clean and wonderfully equipped, and the owners were very friendly. Running and hiking trails start right outside, and we loved ending the day with a grill on the terrace. Our family and dog felt completely at ease in this peaceful, beautiful courtyard. We’d happily return and highly recommend it.

The apartment was bright, clean, spacious, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The landlords were very friendly, and it’s handy for hiking without needing to drive. There’s a small playground, and the goats and chickens were happy to get our vegetable scraps. We and our dog felt very comfortable and would love to come back. There’s no cell reception right at the accommodation, but Wi-Fi is available, which makes for a real break. Reception comes back on the nearby trails, so you can share your impressions and lovely views if you want to ;-)

The kids were so taken with the animals that they didn't want to go home. We spent a few really restful days at Klausenhansen over the Pentecost holidays as a family of four. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, and the owners were warm, relaxed, and great with children. The farm feels wonderfully tucked away. The closest supermarket is about a 15-minute walk, so it suited us perfectly for a quiet break.
