We had our wedding reception here, and it was a very nice venue for a party. The food was great, with options from reasonably priced to gourmet. We chose something in between, with one or two variations, and they handled that without a problem. It's also a nice hotel, so wedding guests traveling in can book rooms. We go back every Easter for brunch, and the wait staff are very nice. More recently, we had dinner from the menu, and it was excellent. My son got homemade nuggets that tasted so good I nearly traded with him. There's a well-stocked play corner under the stairs, plus sheep outside for the kids to see. It's not a petting zoo. In June, you can pay to pick strawberries at the field across the road, or buy them already picked.

Service was impeccable, and breakfast was ample. The location feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but we were only a 10-minute ride from everything, including the office, a restaurant and the CrossFit box. The single room is small, as you'd expect, but comfy.

Some rooms have seen better days. Still, the staff are friendlier than anywhere else, and both breakfast and dinner were very good. The surroundings are lovely for winding down at the end of the day.

I visited during the “muhle market” and had a fantastic time. There were all kinds of stalls selling a wide range of things, and the food the hotel had for sale was superb. The whole place was full of cheerful energy. Brackstedter Muhle hotel, Wolfsburg is extremely inviting and cosy, with friendly, welcoming staff ready to help with whatever you need. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere that ticks all the boxes.

It's a very basic hotel. Breakfast is alright, but the coffee is horrible. I was in a basic single room, and the Wi-Fi signal was awful throughout. They still charge 10 euros.
