Several rooms were being used by women in the sex work industry, with clients coming and going steadily. Everyone notices, yet the hotel staff seem completely unaware, or act that way. As long as the cash register is full, apparently that's all that matters. It's a popular hotel with women who sell their "love."

The central location was the only good thing, though it also meant a lot of noise. Parking was a mess: the spaces are behind a garage door with a pin lock, and although it's supposedly for four vehicles, I dented my car trying to park as the fourth. The brickwork is rough and uneven, with no plaster. Communication was very difficult because the employee only spoke English. The place wasn't very clean, the water flow was weak, and the shower gel was empty. The elevator is supposedly for four people, but it felt like it was only meant for one. Disaster! The bedside table bracket came off the wall when I unplugged it.

We slept really well on the superb mattresses, and breakfast was always fresh and plentiful, so nobody would go hungry. Everything is within walking distance thanks to the excellent location. The hotel may be a little dated, but the owners do what they can to make it cozy and comfortable for guests.

The location was the only good part of our stay. We were seven adults, one child, and a small bulldog. Although I had written confirmation that dogs were allowed, they still made a fuss about it for no reason. They also asked whether I wanted to add breakfast for the next day. I explicitly said that I wasn't aware this was a confirmation that I'd be charged for breakfast the following day, but then they asked again whether I wanted to add it. The so-called Wi-Fi was awful. I've had better reception out in the wilderness. The bed looked nice, but I'd have been better off sleeping on the floor. And the hotel owner actually threatened to report me to the police if I left a bad Google review! Seriously, what's wrong with you, saying something like that? I'm not sorry for giving this so-called "hotel" one star. I'd love to give it five, but I can't.
