For a peaceful break by the sea, Wremen and "der Deichhof" are a great pick. We stayed in one of their cottages, about a brisk five-minute walk from the main house, and liked the roomy spaces and kind service. There are several playgrounds nearby, though some are scaled back during the winter. The fresh air and open spaces more than make up for that.

I spent two months working from two flats here. Both had what I needed, the staff were great, and everything was clean. I’m a bit allergic to dust but had no problems, which was really nice. The area around Der Deichhof is quiet, a good place to slow down and relax. The nearest shop is 1.5 km away. The owner might lend you bikes if you ask nicely :) I think they also offer breakfast in the morning. There’s a train stop on the other side of Wremen, so you can get around that way.

It’s about 200 m to the North Sea, which is said to be good for your health. Nearby you’ll find a well-stocked grocery store, gas station, souvenir shop, pharmacy, and bank, so the essentials are covered. Bremerhaven is 10 km away, and the place is a few kilometers from the highway. The holiday apartments are beautifully situated in a quiet neighborhood, a good choice for families looking to relax in comfort. The owner’s gracious manner and the comfortable accommodations add to the appeal.
