If you want a budget place without frills, this is a decent choice. The rooms are clean and a fair size, though they look a little dated. I missed having a kettle or coffee machine. The staff were really kind and helpful, and there’s parking nearby, which is handy if you’re driving. You can walk to the main sights, too. A good option if you want somewhere decent that won’t cost too much.

The room was clean and felt safe, though a little old fashioned, and the staff were about average for helpfulness. The location gets three stars because the main sights are an easy walk away. Parking is the big problem: there’s none at the hotel, and even stopping to unload bags is hard on the busy street. You have to use the multilevel garage across the road and a little farther along, and it’s expensive, so include that in your budget. With no AC and a barely adequate fan, the room was hot and stuffy. I expect it’d be more comfortable in cooler weather. We were also charged 5 Euros for two cups of mediocre coffee in the morning, which was my one complaint.

Everything else was very good, but that bedside reading lamp is in an awkward spot. It’s fixed right in the middle of the wall, exactly where you’d lean back to read, so you end up bumping your head. Really uncomfortable.
