Pablo at reception was a real help when there was confusion with our reservation. He sorted it out, and was very friendly throughout. The room was surprisingly spacious, with a sitting area and desk as well as the bed, plenty of room for my wife and me. It was warm enough during our first week of December stay. I picked the hotel for its closeness to the Christmas market and train station, and was very happy with the choice. The station is a five to ten minute walk straight down the street, and the Christmas market and old city are walkable too. Pablo is a real asset to the hotel.

We heard a lot of street noise, even though our room was at the back by an alley. Otherwise, the hotel was exactly as described. The location, room, and breakfast were all great, and the offsite parking was the best we had during our three weeks travelling around Germany. Vanessa at the front desk was outstanding.

The front desk staff were nice, and I appreciated the welcome glass of wine. My single room was comfortable and nicely appointed, with a good bed. It was also well located, around a ten minute walk from either the train station or the historic town center.

My complaint is about how they handled my situation, not the hotel itself. I made a non-refundable booking one day before the trip, then found out just two hours later that I couldn't go. I asked to cancel right away, and they denied the request, simply saying "Request Denied." They had the right to do that, but I'm still not thankful for it. I'm sure they had plenty of empty rooms, good for them.

The hotel was very well situated, and the room was absolutely lovely. They upgraded me to one with a private patio and welcomed me with a glass of wine. Breakfast was decent, with all the staples, though the selection wasn't huge.
