There’s no breakfast, and the lift wasn’t working, so getting to my fourth-floor room was a problem. The room was clean, and they changed the laundry and towels every day, but it contained only a bed. There wasn’t even a bathroom hook for a towel or anywhere to hang clothes, so I had to ask for a chair to put my clothes on. At such a low price during an exhibition, it’s acceptable if you don’t mind Spartan conditions.

I arrived within the check-in hours, but nobody was there and I couldn’t get into the building. Booking.com handled the refund successfully.

The location is very central for Wuppertal's Bar Mitte district, which is convenient, and there was little street noise. The windows don’t open, but the air was still good. Inside, it was a basic, budget-friendly hotel with a spacious room, a perfectly adequate bathroom, very good cleanliness, and comfortable beds. There was no table or even a couple of chairs, unfortunately. The TV didn’t work, probably because the Wi-Fi was switched off.
