Novel Hotel

The spreads and bread were so fresh and interesting, I’d happily come just for those. The menu brings Turkish and German food together in a nicely balanced way, and the dishes are well cooked, seasoned, and presented. The flavors live up to how good everything looks. Service was professional and helpful, and even the coffee was right on the mark. There’s a joke that you have to bring your own food when visiting Brandenburg, but you don’t need to here. They’ve got you covered.

I came back after five years and it was still an amazing family-run hotel, always a pleasure to stay. On my first visit I stayed four nights in August. Novel is right in the centre of Wusterhausen and close to the lake, and the place is decorated to a high standard. The owners are warm and welcoming, and nothing seems too much trouble. The room was well priced, with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and an amazing shower. Breakfast had plenty of food and drink options and was very good. I’ll stay here again. Thanks!

The staff were understanding and accommodating with our family. The rooms have been updated well, with comfortable beds and clean, modern bathrooms. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We felt so relaxed after our three nights at Novel, and would love to return. The hosts were the best part: very helpful and full of good recommendations for the area. The building is lovely, and the owners have renovated it while keeping its character. The central location worked perfectly for me and my boyfriend, with easy access and the lake not too far away. Our room was clean and cozy, with fluffy towels and an amazing shower. Breakfast was very good, with lots of vegetarian options, and we also had a delicious dinner in the restaurant one evening. Thank you, Novel!
