It was okay.

The hotel was peaceful and the room was spotless, in a very quiet location. Breakfast was the letdown. It felt more like a guesthouse breakfast than a hotel one. We’re used to a buffet with everything you could want.

We felt very welcome, and so did our dog. The place is charming and quiet, right by the White Elster river, with a large garden guests can use. It must be lovely in summer. Breakfast in the family atmosphere was perfectly adequate, and the service was very friendly.

We stayed for just one night over the Christmas holidays, and even though we were the only guests, the welcome and care were very friendly. We were happy with our room, including its size, cleanliness, and mattresses. The hotel owner is very dog-friendly. A breakfast buffet was set up for the two of us. We’d gladly come back.

The breakfast buffet was great, even with only three of us, and the hostess was very child-friendly. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, in a pleasantly quiet spot that’s still not far from the city. Thanks so much, we’d love to return!
