The small wine shop and semi-open lounge and bar with a barbecue were lovely extras, as was the little garden overlooking the town and the spectacular vine-covered hills, all available to guests. Our hostess gave us good recommendations, and check-in was easy and straightforward. We had a great stay in Zeltingen. The room was nicely decorated and the facilities were really good. Everything feels carefully thought through and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend Weingarten 1897 if you’re planning a visit to the Mosel Valley.

The view of the vineyards from the hammock in the garden was wonderful, and we were impressed by the apartment’s high-quality, tasteful furnishings and its connection to the bottle storage. We stayed there with our small dog and had a lovely time at Gesa Himmelreich's apartment. It’s definitely one of our top three places to stay! 🙂

The apartment was a great base for walks, and the guest bus ticket came in handy too. It’s close to the Moselle and plenty of restaurants, though the house itself is in a quiet spot. My husband and I stayed seven nights and slept really well in the comfortable double bed. We felt at home right away. The house, courtyard terrace, and garden are all lovingly and thoughtfully furnished, with lots of nice little extras to find. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

The hosts put so much care into the details and design, and you can really feel it throughout the apartments, garden, and terrace. We were three couples staying four days, with three apartments between us. The bottle storage was a dream! Zeltingerhof and Leo's Winery are both an easy walk away. We also recommend the VW bus tour with a wine tasting at the Zeltingerhof. The hosts deserve more than five stars. A unique, fantastic stay where we all felt good.
