6/10
The room was small but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The place was quiet, with a large car park, though it's about a 25-minute walk to the town centre. We paid €80 per night, which seems around the going rate and just about fair value. The decor feels like the mid-80s, which could be fun if you enjoy a time-warp feel, but the hotel could use a refresh. We didn't eat there, possibly because the kitchen was closed due to low occupancy. We didn't see another guest during our two-night stay, just one helpful gentleman at reception when we arrived and left.

We had a lovely evening meal, and the beds were comfortable. The setting was lovely too, and the price for one night with breakfast was great.
