Clover House by Daniel&Jacob's

We felt safe in the neighborhood, and the metro is within walking distance. There are new apartments going up nearby, but we couldn’t hear the construction indoors, so sleeping in wasn’t a problem. Our place was cozy and clean, and had everything from plates to Netflix and other streaming subscriptions on the TV. The hosts were kind and flexible. I’d recommend it.

We were grateful for the support team, especially since they helped us at 1:00 in the morning. Our flight was cancelled Monday evening because of the drone incident, and, tired, I accidentally booked another stay here starting Tuesday. Since it was after midnight, the date had changed. The team generated a code for us and helped with a full refund for the mistaken booking. The apartment is well organized, though the bedroom is a little small. It’s in a quiet neighborhood by the sea, with lovely air and a welcome change of scenery after the city centre. People mention construction noise, but we saw no work on Saturday or Sunday, and there was no noise when we got up at 7.

We were a family of four, two adults and two teenage boys, and spent five nights at Clover house near the end of August. The apartment was clean, nicely laid out, and had a well equipped kitchen with comfortable space for all of us, though we were usually out exploring. Supermarkets were walkable, and the beach was about 15 minutes away. The neighborhood felt safe and was generally quiet at night, aside from the construction next door. Work on new apartments began around 6:30-7:00 in the morning and made a fair bit of noise. It woke us, and I think this should have been made clearer on hotels.com and the daniel and Jacobs website, given how close the construction is. Evenings were fine, and we were out most of the time, so it didn’t affect us too much. The metro was a 10-15 minute walk, with excellent connections to the city centre in under 10 minutes and to the airport the other way. We were impressed with public transport and could also rent donkey republic bikes to cycle to the city in 15 minutes along dedicated cycle paths. It’s a lovely apartment in a good residential area with local people around. Once the building work is done, it’ll be great. We’d book again if we return.

We’re very pleased with this place. It was clean and comfortable.
