The studio was clean and pleasant, with a proper bathroom, a useful kitchen, and a large smart TV above the bed. If you’re driving, reserve the extra parking space to avoid hassle. Parking around the area is limited to three hours or paid lots, which cost even more. Without a car, it’s a perfect place to stay.

The kitchen was so miserable to be in that I couldn’t bring myself to use it, and I couldn’t find the lights either. The place was clean, at least, but the staffless hotel concept is terrible. The space felt empty, sterile, and silent, and even though I’d paid, I felt like I was trespassing. Why make a hotel feel like a hellish office in the surrealist movie Being John Malkovich?

The bedrooms were unbearably hot, with barely any ventilation, and neither the hotel nor Expedia’s site made it clear there was no air conditioning. The bathrooms were disgusting, with dirty grout, mold, hair, dirt, and scum on the floors. They should be cleaned between guests, and nobody should have to ask for that. There was no shampoo or soap in the stalls, and I couldn’t get anyone to speak with me or respond. They claim the place has been remodeled, but it felt like a scam. This was an extremely awful experience. The dirty bathrooms and overheated room deserve negative one star. Skip this place at all costs.

Getting in was easy, and they were able to help with an early check-in. The room was quiet, simple, and clean. It’s only a 5 min. walk from the nearest metro, so it worked perfectly for a budget friendly stay in Copenhagen.
