Dahei Apartment Hotel

We spent 3 wonderful Christmas days at Hotel Dahei and couldn't be happier. We booked 2 rooms for three people, and definitely plan to return in the summer. The contactless check-in was seamless, communication excellent, and staff were always available to help. The team deserves a big thank you. We mentioned our daughter's 25th birthday, and they surprised her with wine and chocolates in the room. Such a thoughtful gesture. The neighborhood is cozy, quiet, and very safe, with grocery stores and a fantastic bakery with fresh Danish pastries nearby. It's a 5-minute walk to the metro, 10 mins to the Old Town, and close to a beautiful beach area, good for winter walks or summer swimming. Our room was warm, cozy, and clean, just right for December. The kitchenette had everything we needed, including a coffee machine and fridge. The large bathroom had constant hot water and great toiletries, and the beds and linens were comfortable and high quality. We traveled light, so the wall-mounted storage instead of a wardrobe worked perfectly for us. Exceptional stay in Copenhagen, highly recommended.

We appreciated the fully contactless check-in and check-out most, especially since there was no staff on site. The separate laundry room with free washing machines and dryers was another great perk. We stayed a week and really enjoyed it. The hotel was quiet and recently renovated, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make an early breakfast or late dinner. We slept very well in the comfortable bed and pillows. Its Amager location is handy, very close to the beach and just a 15-20 minute bike ride from the city center.

We’d definitely return. The apartment matched the photos, and the online reception replied quickly whenever we had questions. We also really appreciated being able to leave our bags in the lockers while we explored on the last day. It’s in a quiet area, close to the metro, so the city center was about 15 minutes away.

The Dahei Hotel was a great fit for our week in Copenhagen. We found the laundry facilities especially useful, and they were very clean. The room was spotless, organized, and had everything we needed. There’s no reception onsite, but email communication was quick and easy. The housekeepers we met were lovely and helpful. The neighborhood felt peaceful without being isolated, with groceries, bakeries, and a few restaurants a short walk away. The Metro made it easy to get to the airport and city center, and the Harbor and Amager Strand beach were also within a manageable walk or bike ride. We’ll absolutely stay at the Dahei again next time.
