The hotel is in a wonderful spot, close to everything, with Tivoli about five minutes away and Glyptotek around three. Breakfast worked smoothly because guests could pick a time, so despite the small dining area there were no queues and a table was always free. The selection was good, though I would have liked more hot options such as porridge or pancakes. Our room was cozy, spotless, and well kept, with comfortable beds and pillows. I liked having a bathroom shelf for cosmetics, which many hotels don't provide. The makeup mirror, though, was oddly placed on the main mirror and couldn't be adjusted. The bathroom light was too dim for makeup, and there was no extra light. The common areas were a letdown compared with the clean rooms. During our five days, the hallway carpets weren't cleaned, and they looked like they hadn't been washed in a long time. The narrow corridors had scratches and marks all over the walls and door frames. The hotel is good, but a closer look gives the impression that nobody is paying attention to the small details or taking real care of the shared spaces.

The rooms are compact but comfortable, clean, and more than adequate. I stayed three nights and had a great time. Breakfast was really good, the location superb, and the staff friendly and accommodating. They made the stay feel special, and I'd definitely return.

The hotel is breathtaking, just beyond the old town, and easy to get around from. You can use bikes, and the amenities were better than what most European hotels offer. Having wine, drinks, and breakfast included was fantastic.

The rooftop bar has a lovely view, and since the hotel is right in the city centre, many attractions are walkable. Breakfast was a little lacklustre, but still perfectly pleasant. A great little hotel.
